The invention relates to an electromechanical installation and to a process for producing electric power. The claimed installation comprises two batteries (1) of 12 V for the supply, a starting contact (2) for a starter electric motor (4), a relay (3) playing the role of automatically maintaining the supply of the starter electric motor (4), on the shaft thereof and on the stator of a generator (10) there being mounted a multiplying device (5) which engages the generator (10) with a number of rotations per minute by 25% higher than the optimum number of rotations of the generator (10), such that a maximum excitation is obtained in a time interval of 20...25 s, when a contactor (13) is coupled, said contactor supplying, by means of some gins (9) and a transmission belt (12), a single-phase electric motor (11) such that, in this moment, the generator (10) is engaged automatically and the starter electric motor (4) is cut out of the circuit by means of a timing relay (8) which cuts the supply thereof, leaving the single-phase electric motor (11) to engage the generator (10). The operation of the generator (10) can be cut by means of a stop button (14). |
