PURPOSE: A heat treatment method of 410 series stainless steel plate is provided, which can achieve steel softening in a short time while restricting strength increase due to martensite transformation during cooling by accurately setting annealing temperature through measurement of temperature of ferrite-austenite phase transformation. CONSTITUTION: In a heat treatment method of 410 series stainless steel plate (containing chromium 11-13.5 wt.%) which is converted into martensitic phase at ambient temperatures by phase transformation during quenching after rolling or heat treatment, the present invention is characterized in that when softening a stainless steel plate through tempering treatment, the tempering treatment is carried out within the temperature range of (As-75°C) to (As-25°C) for 5-30 minutes.
