摘要 PURPOSE: A direction change control method of a forklift truck having an automatic transmission is provided to improve responsiveness by reducing direction converting time after operating a direction change lever, and to minimize impact by changing direction at the minimum speed. CONSTITUTION: A forklift truck is operated according to selection of a forward/backward movement lever(s101). An operating gear is turned off, and shifted into a neutral range in inputting a direction change signal to a microcomputer(s102,s103). A solenoid is turned on for a short time to connect the opposite gear, and the forklift truck is operated for the set time by connecting the gear for operating in the opposite direction(s104). The gear is shifted into the neutral range by turning off the solenoid after passing the set time(s105), and speed of the forklift truck measured by a speed sensor is compared with the predetermined value in changing the direction by the microcomputer(s106). The reverse gear is connected by turning on the opposite solenoid in case of the speed of the forklift to be within the range of predetermined values(s107). Responsiveness is improved with reducing direction change time, and impact is minimized with changing direction at the minimum speed.
