PURPOSE: An Internet phone apparatus using a wire/wireless terminal and the method thereof are provided to connect easily the wire/wireless terminal when using the Internet phone at a PC, thereby using the Internet phone conveniently through the wire/wireless terminal. CONSTITUTION: A connection line selection unit(10) selects a connection line of a general local line and the Internet phone. A terminal feeding circuit unit(20) provides two-line type current to the wire/wireless terminal for performing a basic operation through the inside feeding circuit when the connection to the selection unit(10) is canceled and the connection to the Internet phone is set. A two-line type to four-line type conversion unit(30) has an impedance matching unit(31) and converts the four-line of a PC into the two-line type of the wire/wireless terminal in order to be connected to the wire/wireless terminal. An audio CODEC unit(40) converts an analog signal into a digital signal, produces PCM(Pulse Code Modulation) data and then transmits the data to a S/W interface of the PC.
