PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply an optical element module in which fixation of a system and a thermoelectric cooling device and fixation of the thermoelectric cooling device and a case are ensured and in which stable optical coupling is always obtained for use of a long period. SOLUTION: In order to assure the long term stability of fixation of the stem and thermoelectric cooling device and fixation of the thermoelectric cooling device and case, a thermoelectric cooling device assembled with Sn/Sb solder which has a melting point higher than that of Pb/Sn solder is used, and Pb/Sn solder which has a melting point higher than that of In-base solder is used for fixation of the stem and thermoelectric cooling device and fixation of the thermoelectric cooling device and case.
