<p>In a modified production process of polyolefin coated technical textiles, natural, synthetic, or carbon fibre starting materials are coated by a polyolefinic polymer to at least 80% of their surface area. Material prepared in this manner is associated with a polyolefinic layer on each side of the pretreated material. The assembly is passed through smoothing rollers and preferably through an electrically heated tunnel at 100-200 [deg]C. and immediately through two pressure rollers. The heat set product is reeled up. The unit is provided with material off-winding, smoothing rollers, heating tunnel, pressure rollers and winding facilities.</p> |
