PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which the rotation of a rotary tray and the opening/closing operation of a slide tray can be carried out by only one driving motor, and which has the reduced number of parts resulting in its reduce cost. SOLUTION: The disk device is provided with a center gear 3, engaged with the driving gear 2 of a drive shaft of a drive motor 1, a rotary tray rotating gear 8 engaged with a control gear 4 and a large gear 5 formed on the center gear 3, engaged with an intermediate gear 6 formed on the upper part of the large gear 5 at locating on the upper step of a circumference step part 5a of the large gear 5 and engaged with the rack 7 of the rotary tray R, a loading gear 9 engaged with the control gear 4, a planetary gear 10 engaged with the loading gear 9 and conducting pendulum movement, a loading gear 12 engaged with the rack 11 of the slide tray S and the gear 10 to move the tray S back and forth, a connection rod material 13 for connecting the gears 10, 9, and a chucking lever 15 for chucking a chucking device T by horizontally moving the rod material 13.
