The invention provides a phosphorus deoxidized copper for heat exchanger with its specifications in range of C1201 or C1220 in JISH3300. Even with a medium to reduce fire, it can achieve high strength and can function stably. The cost for manufacturing such copper is also very low. More technically, the copper comprises at least one element from a component group of Fe, Co (less than 0.02 percent by mass) and Ni. In total, the amount of the element contained ranges from 0.004 to 0.08 percent by mass and phosphorus amount ranges between 0.04 to 0.05 percent by mass. The rest is composed by Cu and inevitable purities. When heated to 800 degrees for fifteen seconds, the anti-stretching strength can reach up to 235n per mm2. In addition, the copper further comprises Sn below 0.02 percent by mass or Zn below 0.05 percent by mass. |
