PURPOSE: A resin covered aluminum tube for automobile pipes is provided to inexpensively manufacture a tube having corrosion resistance and chipping resistance by covering a polymer resin on the surface of the aluminum tube, and a manufacturing method of the resin covered aluminum tube for automobile pipes is provided. CONSTITUTION: In an aluminum tube used in automobile fuel and hydraulic pipes, the resin covered aluminum tube for the automobile pipes is characterized in that the aluminum tube is consisted of an aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a polyamide 12 is covered on the surface of the aluminum tube. The manufacturing method of the resin covered aluminum tube for the automobile pipes comprises a supply step(S1) of supplying an aluminum tube manufactured by extruding-drawing; a surface film formation step(S2) of forming a film on the surface of the aluminum tube using chromate and epoxy resin as a primer; a preheating step(S3) of preheating the aluminum tube in the temperature range of 150 to 300 deg.C; and a covering step(S4) of covering a polymer resin on the aluminum tube by co-extrusion.
