PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a disk-shaped recording medium from dropping out of the recess of a disk tray at a loading end or an ejection end while using a disk drive vertically. SOLUTION: An optical disk drive equipped with a disk tray 7 and a nearly circular recess 7c formed in the disk tray 7, is provided with a tapered part 123 which is formed on the bottom of the recess 7c of the disk tray 7 in a concentric circular shape, and is formed on a decline toward the center of the recess 7c, a disk outer periphery positioning part 124 formed on the inner periphery of the tapered part 123 in a concentric circular shape, a plurality of projections 126 for disk fitting which are formed at a plurality of places of the outer periphery of the tapered part 123 on the upper part open part 125 of the recess 7c, and in which a disk outer periphery fitting groove 127 is formed, and a plurality of projections 129 for preventing disk dropping which have a step part 130 on the upper part at the tip part of the inner side of the plurality of projections 126 for disk fitting, and are integrally formed.
