PURPOSE: An aromatic agent composition obtained by coating a slow release material containing a flavor with an aqueous polymeric solution is provided which imparts long lasting flavor release and stable intensity maintenance of flavor. CONSTITUTION: A slow release material containing a flavor is half-coated with a water-soluble polymer to produce a pasty aromatic agent composition containing 30 to 60% by weight of the slow release material and 5 to 25% by weight of the aqueous polymer. The slow release material is cyclodextrin or derivatives thereof and the slow release material is inorganic powder selected from the group consisting of aluminium oxide, zeolite, bentonite, talc, diatomaceous earth, silica, cellulose, starch, kaolin and potassium silicate. |
