PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheat condition recording device capable of visually confirming existence of engine overheat. SOLUTION: An irreversible temperature reaction agent 11 changing color at engine overheat temperature is provided at a location close to water jackets 2, 6 of either of a cylinder head 1 or a cylinder block 5 in an enclosed condition.
