PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind for a roof light window, by which a bottom rail and a slat are securely kept parallel to a head box and made possible to open and close, and of which the assembling and maintenance can be easy to perform. SOLUTION: Both the ends of a slat lifting-up wire 10 are reeled on a reeling spindle 8 in the head box 1, the middle part of the wire having no end is hooked and arranged along the bottom rail, and the slat lifting-up wire 10 is reeled up with the reeling spindle 8, so that the bottom rail 6 can be moved toward the head box. Both the ends of a slat lifting-off wire 13 is reeled on the reeling spindle 8 in the direction reverse to that of the slat lifting-up wire, the middle part having no end is guided through the bottom box to the bottom rail and hooked and arranged along the bottom rail, and the slat lifting-off wire 13 is reeled up with the reeling spindle 8, so that the bottom rail 6 can be moved toward the bottom box 3.
