摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the accurate automatic adjustment of the amplitude and offset of each of the output signals of two different phases outputted from an encoder and the phase difference between the output signals, and to correct the change in the amplitude, the offset and the phase difference caused by a temperature change or the like. SOLUTION: The apparatus for automatically adjusting the output signals from the encoder is equipped with a correction signal detection means for detecting the maximum and minimum values of the respective output signals, a digital signal processor 100 including a correction arithmetic means for calculating the amplitudes and offsets of the output signals from the maximum and minimum values to operate the correction quantities to the respective prescribed values of the amplitudes and offset, first and third operators 10 and 20 working as amplitude correction means for adjusting the amplitudes of the output signals based on the correction arithmetic means, and second and fourth operators 12 and 22 working as offset correction means for adjusting the offsets of the output signals based on the correction arithmetic means. Further, the apparatus has a phase difference detection means for detecting the phase difference of two signals different in phase, and a phase correction means for adjusting the phase difference to a predetermined value.
