PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable cooling capacity by securing the refrigerant condensation area of a condenser. SOLUTION: A liquid reservoir 12 is disposed at a position lower than the condenser 10 with the body thereof being laid approximately horizontally. The reservoir 12 can reserve a refrigerant liquid moving upward through a refrigerant liquid pipe 18 at the time when a cooler is started, or the refrigerant liquid increasing at the time of low load operation. The liquid refrigerant in the liquid reservoir 12 is kept at a refrigerant liquid level that is lower than the position of an outflow port 10b of the condenser 10. Thus, the refrigerant liquid in the reservoir 10 is prevented from stagnating so that the condenser 10 is surely provided with the condensation area for cooling and liquefying the refrigerant gas. As a result, the condenser 10 can cool and liquefy the refrigerant gas even at the time when the operation of the cooler is started and when the cooler is operated at a low load.
