PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure in which the installation of a faucet onto a sink and a wash stand can be fixed surely and stably in a short time by simple works only from the upper section of a top plate. SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of the faucet in which a mounting member A is mounted on the mounting hole 8 of the top plate 7 from an upper section and a faucet body 1 is fixed onto the mounting member A, the mounting member A is composed of a pedestal 9 arranged into the mounting hole 8 of the top plate 7 from the upper section, bolts 15 being inserted into a pair of vertical holes 13 bored in the vertical direction of the pedestal 9 respectively and having male screw sections 17 projected to the lower section of the mounting hole 8, a fastener 19 being screwed from the lower sections of the male screw sections 17 and being freely rotated together with the bolts 15, being freely inserted into the mounting hole 8 and pinching the rear of the top plate 7 and a holding member 23 connected to both bolts 15, and the holding member 23 or the fastener 19 integrally form a stopper 28 stopping the rotation of the fastener 19 and vertically facing the rear of the top plate 7 and the fastener 19 oppositely.
