PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit device which does not require the use of another member for fixing a coil body, can be reduced in manufacturing cost or improved in productive efficiency, can be mounted and dismounted easily on and from a circuit board or chassis and the size of which can be reduced as a whole, and to provide an encapsulating case used for encapsulating the device. SOLUTION: A voltage transformer 1 has the coil body Z (a combined core K composed of first and second cores K1 and K2 and a coil T) and the encapsulating case 2. The case 2 is integrally formed of a synthetic resin and has a housing section 3 which houses the coil body Z, a substrate supporting section 7 formed on the bottom face of the section 3 to support the circuit board 10, and a mounting/dismounting mechanism 6 which can mount the housing section 3 on a proscribed position of the chassis 2. On the rear face of the housing section 3, a pressing section 4b and a projecting section 4c are formed to press the first core K1. On the side faces of the section 3, in addition, locking members 5b and locking clicks 5c are formed to lock the movement of the coil body Z in the pressed direction of the body Z when the body Z is pressed by means of a pressing section 4.
