METHOD FOR ANALYZING FORWARD LINK COVERAGE OF WIRELESS NETWORK IN WHICH REPEATER IS INCLUDED IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for analyzing a forward link coverage of a wireless network in which a repeater is included in a wireless communication system is provided to obtain an accurate performance analyzed result by analyzing the wireless network including the repeater as well as a base station. CONSTITUTION: A base station is selected(201), and a remote repeater which is shared with the base station is selected(202). A traffic about the selected base station and repeater is distributed as uniform, non-uniform, and density/sector(203). A path loss is analyzed(204), and a receiving signal intensity is analyzed(205). An interference, a signal to noise ratio(Ec/Io) of a pilot channel, and a soft hand-off are analyzed about each channel of the base station(206). A coverage about a forward link of a wireless network including the base station and the repeater is analyzed using the analyzed result about the base station and the repeater(208).
