METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BATCH TYPE BILLING BY USING DISTRIBUTED PROCESSING

PURPOSE: A method and a system for batch type billing are provided to enhance the efficiency of billing work by separating an on-line work process from a billing process. CONSTITUTION: In time, a billing system(210) starts to operate. An on-line/billing system share database(220) needed for billing work is copied to the billing system. The billing system calculates charges or fees of respective customer or charge accounts by using a copied on-line/billing system share database(230). The customer or charge account completed with billing work is stored in a billing system exclusive database(240). The billing system exclusive database searches for the customer or charge account completed with billing work and copies the billing data related with the corresponding customer or charge account to the on-line/billing share database from the copied on-line/billing system share database.
