PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive device for an optical pickup device. SOLUTION: In a lens holder 5 on which driving coils and an objective lens 6 are mounted, there are installed inserting holes 9a for inserting/supporting each of plural suspension wires 11 and supporting parts 9 formed with a recess 9b in proximity to the inserting hole; each end of the driving coils is wound on each different recess 9b obliquely against the axial direction of the suspension wires 11; and each end of the driving coils and the suspension wires 11 inserted into the supporting parts 9 are designed to be supported by soldering.
