PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a magnetic tape by which the form of the magnetic tape itself and the taken-up form of the magnetic tape is made normal. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the magnetic tape, including at least a take-up process (S2) of the magnetic tape, is characterized by the fact that a storage processes (S3, S4) is included in which the magnetic tape taken-up in the take-up process (S2) is stored under a prescribed or smaller humidity prior to a subsequent process.
