PURPOSE: An audio frequency track circuit is provided to detect easily a state of a train and monitor a damaged state of rail by diving a track in predetermined sections. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter(20) is used for adding a carrier frequency to a detection signal frequency and modifying the added signal. A dummy line(21) of a transmission side is used for compensating an interval between the transmitter(20) and a track and matching the impedance according to each carrier frequency. A transmission tuner(23) and a reception tuner(25) are formed with inductors(L1,L2) connected to capacitors(C1,C2,C3) in order to define a boundary between neighboring track circuits. An air core inductor(24) is used for defining a boundary between neighboring track circuit sections. A receiver(28) is used for recognizing an entry state of a train and a trouble of the track circuit. A transmission and a reception matching device(22,26) are formed with transformers.
