PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having a structure with a load to be applied to a female screw being distributed nearly equally over the whole of a thread. SOLUTION: In this actuator, the female screw 20 as a first member and a male screw 30 as a second member are screwed to each other, and any one of them is relatively rotated, so that the first member and the second member are relatively moved in the axial direction and that a load is always applied between the first member and the second member in a constant way of the axial direction. In the female screw 20 as the first member, a thread 22 at a side, to which high surface pressure is to be applied, is formed to be readily deformed elastically in comparison with the thread 22 at the other side, to which a low surface pressure is applied. Due to this structure, a relief load in the high surface pressure side thread can be applied efficiently to the low surface pressure side thread.
