The invention relates to a value and security document, which consists of a substrate with a front side and a rear side, wherein on the front side or rear side of the substrate there is an applied ink layer. A first motif in the form of a pattern, symbol or coding is incorporated in the ink layer. The first motif takes the form here of an embossing structure, which consists of a multiplicity of raised embossing elements with areas of differing orientation and shows a first tilting or moving effect when the value and security document is tilted, in that at least two different groups of embossing elements with different characteristic parameters reflect incident light in different spatial areas. The embossing elements respectively have a lateral dimension of more than 30 µm and a height of more than 10 µm. The invention also relates to a method for producing a corresponding value and security document. According to the invention, the first motif is combined with a second motif in the form of a pattern, symbol or coding, wherein the second motif is arranged on the same side of the substrate as the first motif. The second motif takes the form here of an embossing structure which consists of a multiplicity of raised embossing elements with areas of differing orientation. The embossing structure forms the second motif with a second tilting or moving effect, in that various groups of embossing elements with different characteristic parameters reflect incident light in different spatial areas. The embossing elements respectively have a lateral dimension of less than 30 µm and a height of less than 10 µm. In addition, the pattern, symbol or coding of the first motif is at least partially adapted to the pattern, symbol or coding of the second motif.
