PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a driving mechanism in a gatherer provided with plural paper feeders on its casing and driving plural paper feeders by a common motor of large capacity, to reduce the operating noise, and to easily recover the failure in feeding and conveying a sheet during the operation. SOLUTION: This gatherer 1 is provided with plural paper feeders 3 for feeding the sheets, a means 5 communicated to each of paper feeders 3 for delivering a group of sheets successively stacked to a converging part, a folded paper feeder 6 mounted on the converging part for converging the group of sheets successively stacked, for feeding the folded paper sheets for converging, and a gathering matter delivery means 7 connected to the folded paper feeder, the paper feeders 3 and the folded paper feeder 6 are respectively unified in a state that a desired mechanism and a motor for driving the mechanism are included in a casing of each feeder, and can be independently mounted and demounted to an outer casing 2 of the gatherer.
