METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE OCCLUSION INTERACTIONS OF DENTAL ARCHS

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in orthopaedic dentistry clinic. Obtain a wax occlusogram in position of central occlusion. Read the anatomical imprints from the upper and lower jaws. Create gypsum models according to read imprints. Obtained wax occlusogram is applied on the gypsum models and using an occlusion spray contact points are registered. After photographing the models all the data is transferred to a personal computer where they are processed. Using software "Universal Desktop Ruler" calculate the area of the occlusion contacts.EFFECT: method allows to increase the quality of the estimates of the area of occlusal contacts of the antagonising teeth, thereby increasing the level of diagnosis and treatment of patients with occlusal disorders.1 cl
