PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing an instrument to be embedded in concrete, which facilitates separation of the instrument embedded in the concrete, such as drain main body, a cover receiving frame, etc., of a roof drain, from the concrete when a building is demolished. SOLUTION: According to the method, a surface of the concrete p has an installation recess 22 formed therein, which is shaped almost the same as the instrument (1A) to be embedded in the concrete, and anchor members 10 each having a female screw hole 11 in which a fixing screw 6 can be screwed, are embedded in an internal bottom surface of the installation recess 22. Then, the fixing screw 6 inserted from the surface of the concrete into the instrument (1A) embedded in the concrete is screwed into the female screw hole 11 of each anchor member 10. As a result, the instrument (1A) installed in the installation recess 22 is detachably fixed to the concrete.
