PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reproduction free of stagnation. SOLUTION: The information reproduction method of reproducing a disk recorded with a plurality of different continuous compressed data, in which the bunches of the data from the respective tops to the prescribed numbers of the data in the different compressed data are recorded on the disk; in reproducing the compressed data, the bunches of the information from the respective tops to the prescribed numbers of the data in the different compressed data from the disk are read and are previously stored in memory means 13; in reproducing the compressed data of the same kinds, the onset segments of the prescribed number of data already stored in the memory means 13 are reproduced and the sequels of the compressed data of the same kind are reproduced from the disk and are successively supplemented and stored into the memory means 13, by which the compressed data of the same kind are continuously reproduced and the bunches of the data from the tops to the prescribed numbers of the data in the already stored different compressed data are stored in the memory means 13.
