PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job managing method by which required quantity of free capacity of a storage device is reduced and changes of a program and data become unnecessary since an input file required for job execution is not required to be specified by every job and the input file is not required to be held until execution. SOLUTION: In the managing method for executing jobs by a computer system, it is characterized by inserting a job to be stopped after performing an interruption processing of initialization data and input data into a queue and starting the stopped job at a point of time when the job execution is enabled.
