PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a frame type foot warmer which has a transparency and a new design. SOLUTION: The top plate 20 comprises an upper glass plate 11 and a lower glass plate 12 connected through a reinforcing plate 17 having a through hole 18 and four decorative plates 13 with which end faces of a pair of glass plates are covered from four side directions. Each of the decorative plates 13 has an upper fitting groove 14 in the upper part of an inner surface and a lower fitting groove 15 in the lower part of the inner surface and a protrusion 16 formed between the fitting grooves 14 and 15. The upper fitting grooves 14 are fitted to the four side peripheral edges of the upper glass plate 11 and the lower fitting grooves 15 are similarly fitted to the four side peripheral edges of the lower glass plate 12. Further, the protrusions 16 are connected to the four side peripheral edges of the reinforcing plate 17.
