PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of continuously and automatically pasting a string packing and a thin body on a structure in a superior sealed form independently of the configuration of the structure. SOLUTION: The method of pasting the string packing onto the structure comprises the step of temporarily fixing the cement face of the string packing to be an upper face into a predetermined form with a fixture and the step of joining the joined face of the structure onto the temporarily fixed cement face of the packing to transfer the packing onto the structure.
