HARD DISK PACK AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a hard disk pack and an information processing device which are superior in operability to perform master/slave switching only when there is trouble upon the operation of a personal computer without providing an information processor main body with a special circuit neither providing a BIOS with a special function related to switching. SOLUTION: Master/slave switching between a hard disk drive 4 incorporated in a note type personal computer main body 9 and a hard disk drive 6 for extension in a hard disk pack 8 as an extension option is performed by a master/slave switching switch 1. The switch 1 is provided in a place where it cannot be operated with the hard disk pack 8 on an extension slot 2 of the note type personal computer main body 9, and thus malfunction can be prevented because the function of the hard disk drive 4 incorporated in the note type personal computer main body 9 cannot be switched in the middle of operation of the note type personal computer.
