PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed vessel that a pinhole test (i.e., gas leakage test) is accurately carried out using a small quantity of testing gas and that a filling process of contents and the testing gas and a testing process of pinhole can be carried out continuously at the same place, and to provide a pinhole detecting method using the closed vessel. SOLUTION: The closed vessel is composed so that a gas enclosing body carried in from the outside of the vessel and capable of being broken is contained in the vessel, and the gas enclosing body in the closed body is broken to diffuse the gas in the closed vessel, and the presence or absence of gas leakage from the closed vessel is tested.
