PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundering size capable of preventing the color of clothes from fading when sized as a result of being previously incorporated with a synthetic dye lightly colored in compliance with the hue of the clothes to be sized. SOLUTION: This laundering size is obtained by previously incorporating, as appropriate, a size consisting mainly of a polyvinyl acetate- or polyvinyl alcohol-based resin with a synthetic dye lightly colored in compliance with the hue of clothes to be laundered.
