PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which is excellent in low temperature resistance even after it is immersed in an oily substance such as grease and oil, and is excellent in the property of permanent set at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises a polyoxyalkylene glycol as a modifier, wherein the polyoxyalkylene glycol comprises two or more oxyalkylene units.
