PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the inconvenience of a forgotten-extinction preventing controller that equipment is stopped by means of a timer even when the inside of a living room is cold, because the controller accepts a switch input and informs a displaying section of the accepted switch input. SOLUTION: The forgotten-extinction preventing controller is provided with a room temperature sensor which reads the room temperature in a living room, and a controller which stops the operation of a forgotten-extinction preventing device after the time designated by means of a timer which starts to count time has elapsed, while the present room temperature read by means of the room temperature sensor is held within a preset forgotten-extinction detecting and discriminating room temperature range after the present room temperature reaches a set room temperature set by the user.
