PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a high-grade feeling, suppress a striking noise when fixing a hook member to a use position, and impart comfortable operability. SOLUTION: This hook device is equipped with an outer tube 13 having an engagement protrusion 34 (a main body engagement part) on the periphery; an inner tube 12 having an engagement protrusion 24 (a hook engagement part) in a side part, inserted in the outer tube 13; and a rotation dumper 11 allowing a relative turn of the outer tube 13 and the inner tube 12 with resistance. The rotation dumper 11 is disposed between respective flange parts 202 formed in a hook member 200, around a support shaft 103. The engagement protrusion 24 formed in the inner tube 12 is engaged with a dumper engagement part 210 formed in at least one flange part 202 of the hook member 200, while the engagement protrusion 34 formed in the outer tube 13 is engaged with a damper engagement part 111 formed in an inner wall of a main body case 100.
