PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt auxiliary lock capable of adjusting some amount of opening and closing of a sliding door and making fine ventilation adjustment. SOLUTION: The belt auxiliary lock is so constituted that a belt body section (4) having a plurality of holes (5) and a belt body storage section (3) storing the belt body (4) therein are mounted to a frame body (2) such as a window frame or the like and, at the same time, that a hooking body (7) having a hooking piece (8) to which one of a plurality of holes (5) in the belt body (4) is hooked is mounted to the sliding door (1) to connect the sliding door (1) to the frame body (2) with the belt body section (4).
