PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional conduit inside closing work which requires reduction of a water level inside the conduit or elimination of the water before the work, that is, requires more labor for adjusting the water level than for closing work. SOLUTION: In this construction method, a diver carrying a closing material inside through a minimum space such as a manhole 7 constructs a closing wall 2 inside the conduit 6 without lowering the water level inside the conduit 6. In this method, construction is carried out by the diver, so that the construction can be carried out without regulating a water level inside the conduit 6.
