PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation type sensor having a rotating body with a little fluctuation and good performance. SOLUTION: The rotating body 8 of the rotation type sensor has a housing section 8c at a rigid wall section 8b in which an elastic forcing member 13 and a restricting member 12 composed of a rigid projective section are disposed. A drive shaft 14 is pressed by the forcing member 13 so that the drive shaft 14 is in pressing contact with the restricting member 12, and the drive shaft 14 is sandwiched and held by the restricting member 12 and the forcing member 13. Thereby, the rotation type sensor, in which the drive shaft 14 is surely held and stable in comparison with conventional methods, and the rotating body 8 has a little fluctuation for the vibration and the impact, can be provided.
