PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that although the miniaturization in the axial direction has been developed recently in the bearing for wheels, as the usual mounting structure has a chock fitted to a recess formed at the vehicle outer side of the central hole of the knuckle after the outer ring member is press fitted in a knuckle in the usual mounting structure, the length (width) of the knuckle is required as long as the chock and hence, the freedom degree of design is reduced. SOLUTION: The axle bearing 1 is prevented from slipping out to the vehicle inner side A by the contact of the end face of the outer ring member 2 of the axle bearing 1 with a stopper 26 and a step 31 for engaging with the stopper 29 engages with a recess 28 to be engaged so that the axle bearing 1 is prevented from slipping out to the vehicle outer side B and the end face of the outer ring member 2 and the end face of the knuckle 23 position in the axial same face and only the distance as thick as the stopper 30 is protruded to the vehicle outer side B and hence, the distance between a hub flange 11 and the axle bearing 1 can be contracted and the degree of freedom in design can be improved in accordance with the distance.
