PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve system capable of size and weight reductions and high durability. SOLUTION: This valve system 1 comprises an air intake rocker arm 5 which includes a first driving rocker arm 31, a second driving rocker arm 41, and an intermediate rocker arm 51, and connects and disconnects the three components by moving switching pins 48, 58 inserted in guide holes 35, 45, 55. Guide sleeves 37, 47 which form the guide holes 35, 45 of the first and second driving rocker arms 31, 41 have unequal halves parts 37a, 47a so that the rigidity on the lower side may become relatively high, and a guide sleeve 57 which forms the guide hole 55 of the intermediate driving rocker arm 51 includes an unequal halve part 57a so that the rigidity on the upper side may become relatively high.
