PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunshade device capable of being easily set in an optional position of a veranda space without being a hindrance and providing a screening effect and good ventilation without impairing the appearance. SOLUTION: This sunshade device comprises a frame formed of a pair of supporting poles laid between the top corner part of a veranda and the handrail part of a fence, and a connecting bar for mutually connecting the supporting poles in the upper part so that the space is adjustable, and a mesh shade sheet laid over the frame. The supporting pole comprises an adjusting mean for adjusting the length and keeping the set state in the middle part, a leg attachment to abut on the fence handrail part at the lower end, and an upper attachment to abut on the top corner part of the veranda.
