PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type double quilt cage allowing direct use of surplus soil and the like produced in a construction field in a river or mountain site by filling the quilt cage with it. SOLUTION: In this panel type double quilt cage, a mesh-structure leakage preventing material 2 preventing leakage of soil is layered on multiple lateral thin steel rods 1 arranged in parallel in the lateral direction, and longitudinal thin steel rods 3 arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction are overlapped to them in a grid form. A panel unit 5 is formed by welding and fixing intersection parts between the lateral thin steel rods 1 and the longitudinal thin steel rods 3, and the panel units 5 are connected mutually by means of a coil or an annealing wire to be assembled into a cage form.
