PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that has a high luminance and is capable of making a large screen without generating unevenness in brightness. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a multi-substrate 1 in which the wiring substrate 6 mounted with an electronic part 12 constituting a drive circuit is connected plural pieces in the plane direction, row electrodes 2 formed in a prescribed shape on nearly whole face of the above multi-substrate 1 and electrically connected to the electronic parts 12 constituting the above drive circuit, column electrodes 4 formed in a prescribed shape on nearly whole face of the multi-substrate 1 and electrically connected to the electronic parts 12 constituting the drive circuit, and an electroluminescent layer 3 formed between the above column electrodes 4 and the row electrodes 2.
