PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve data access speed by separating user data and management data which are recorded in a recording medium, and caching them in a cache memory. SOLUTION: A data reproducing device is provided with a first storage part 5b storing a pass table where a first recording position address and a second recording position address are arranged, a second storage part 5a which temporarily stores data reproduced from the recording medium 1 with the recording position address, a comparison part 10 comparing the recording position address on the pass table with the recording position address of data, which is stored in the second storage part 5a, a judging part 10 judging that data stored in the second storage part 5a is first management data or second management data when compared results are matched, a data extracting part 10 extracting data from the second storage part 5a in accordance with judgment that the judged result is first management data or second management data and a third storage part 5c which temporarily stores extracted data.
