PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof gate corresponding to a voice of vicinal citizens asking for 'a familiar roof gate'. SOLUTION: An auxiliary roof gate that is freely moved up and down by inclining the upper part of a steel door body, which has a rotating shaft parallel to a proper lower position on the downstream side, on the upstream side and has an independent operating system is installed at a position where it does not interfere at the time of rise and fall movement with the a main roof gate having the independent operating system which is freely undulatedly installed by inclining the upper part of the steel door body, which has the rotating shaft upstream, on the downstream side. Furthermore, on top of making a downstream side lower face of a stream guiding plate mounted freely rotatably at a front end of the door body of the main roof gate to be supported by a roller at the front end of the door body of the auxiliary roof gate, the height above the weir and conditions of the flow of overflowed water as the roof gate are adjusted by the respective rise and fall operations of the main roof gate and the auxiliary roof gate with a pneumatic operation device on land.
