PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of being installed to both existing and new general houses. SOLUTION: Sliding-bearing receiving members 4 are fixed onto each underside of sills 2 at sites where posts 3 are disposed upright at least at upper sections respectively while sliding bearing members 5 are fixed onto a concrete continuous footing 1 in the lower sections of the receiving members 4, and the receiving members 4 are disposed on the sliding bearing members 5.
