PURPOSE: An auto-knock bushing structure of an automotive engine is provided to allow for ease of assembly of the cam cap and cylinder head without using a knocking bush. CONSTITUTION: A cam cap bolt(60) for coupling a cam cap(50) and a cylinder head(40) so that a cam shaft for operating the valve unit arranged in the cylinder head is rotatable, is inserted into a coupling hole(40') formed at the cylinder head and an insertion hole(50') formed at the cam cap. The cam cap bolt has an expanded end(60b) with a diameter(d) relatively larger than a diameter(D) of the bolt so that the expanded end contacts assembly holes(40'',50'') formed at the cylinder head and the cam cap, respectively. The assembly hole formed at the cylinder head has a relatively larger diameter in the upper portion of the coupling hole, and the assembly hole formed at the cam cap has a relatively smaller diameter in the lower portion of the insertion hole.
