摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt friction coefficient measuring device capable of instantaneously calculating a friction coefficient by concurrently measuring a circumferential load (frictional force) and a diametral load (a bearing pressure) in a pulley for measuring a belt load used in measurement of a load applied to a belt during belt drive traveling. SOLUTION: The belt friction coefficient measuring device 1 comprises at least one pulley 10 wound with the belt 2, a tension applying means 3 of applying tension to the belt 2 wound on the pulley 10, a driving means of rotatively driving the pulley 10, a first detecting part 10a detecting the circumferential load exerted on the pulley 10 by the belt 2 due to slipping between the belt 2 and the rotatively driven pulley 10, a second detecting part 10b provided on the same pulley as the first detecting part 10a and detecting the diametral load exerted on the pulley 10 by the belt 2, and a calculating means 4 inputted with a detection signal from the first detecting part 10a and a detection signal from the second detecting part 10b in response to a rotational position of the pulley 10 and calculating the friction coefficient responding to the rotational position of the pulley 10 on the basis of the signals.
